Erik grew up playing hockey in Canada throughout his amateur career, and has played the game at the collegiate, international, and pro level. After retiring as player, he joined the ranks of USA Hockey in the Southeast district, being heavily involved in the Coaching Education Program, as well as the Athletic Development Model. Having coached at the NCAA Division III level with Lake Forest, Hudson found passion in coaching and pursued other opportunities as his career unfolded. In 2017, he found himself in an assistant coaching position for both the U20 & U18 Romanian National Team, and was also
involved as an Associate Head Coach with the University of Alabama. Erik is also the General Manager of the Mountain America Center, home of your Idaho Falls Spud Kings.
