Joshua Hoff – Head Coach

Coach Joshua Hoff is coming to Idaho Falls with over a decade of coaching experience. He started coaching after his age out year (2010) with the Charleston Wolverines known formerly as the Metropilane Jr B hockey league.

The first 6 years of his coaching career, he worked at the Carolina Ice Palace leading their youth and adult learn to play,  also was a lead instructor for the U8 program, along with coaching the U14 AA travel team. Coach Hoff then took his skills to Charlotte for two years where he was the assistant coach for a U16 AA/AAA and U18 AA program, with many of those players moving on to play junior, prep, and college hockey later in their careers. The following year in Charlotte,  he took his first head coaching job and took over Charlotte’s U18 AA team. He helped multiple players move to junior hockey and club college hockey from that team. The following year he went back to his alma mater, College of Charleston, to help the Division 3 club for a year. Then the opportunity to coach junior hockey in his home came along and he took an assistant coaching job with the Charleston Colonials. Half-way through that year, he took the opportunity to be the head coach at Hoosac School. For the past two and half years at Hoosac School, Coach Hoff has helped many of his players move on to tier 3 and tier 2 juniors. The upcoming college season will have 6 former players from Hoosac playing NCAA division three hockey.

Coach Hoff looks forward to bringing junior A hockey to Idaho Falls. He will be moving to Idaho Falls later this summer with his wife Christina, new born daughter Rowan Harper, and his two labs, Tori and Bauer.
