IDAHO FALLS SPUD KINGS
The Idaho Falls Spud Kings are proud members of the NCDC West Division of the USPHL, with games against the Ogden Mustangs, Utah Outliers, Provo Predators, Rock Springs Prospectors and Pueblo Bulls. The Spud Kings offer fans and players a junior hockey experience unmatched anywhere else in the country.
All games are played in the beautiful Hero Arena inside the Mountain America Center. This 4100 seat arena, constructed in 2022, sold out 22 of 24 games of the 2022/23 season to an extremely passionate fanbase. The Spud Kings game operations including player announcements, on-ice and in-seat promotions, and videoboard/sound production rival professional teams. Thanks to our great community sponsors the Spud Kings will continue to have great promotional nights for fans including t-shirt giveaways, rally towel giveaways, and specialty jersey nights.

The player experience in Idaho Falls is another factor setting Spud Kings Hockey apart from any other Junior Hockey program. Players have access to professional hockey level locker rooms, professional athletic trainers, opportunities to give-back and interact with a passionate community fanbase, and world-class training facilities help our players perform at the highest possible level.

In our short history, the Spud Kings have sold online merchandise to every state in the United States and 6 countries.

Our experience in professional sports environments comes from the top of our organization, The Elmore Sports Group. With professional teams including the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, Idaho Falls Chukars and Rocky Mountain Vibes of the Pioneer League and minor league baseball teams like the Amarillo Sod Poodles, Inland Empire 66ers. Eugene Emeralds, and Lynchburg Hillcats, no junior hockey team offers a pro background like the Idaho Falls Spud Kings.
THE MOUNTAIN AMERICA CENTER
The Mountain America Center opened it’s doors in November of 2022. This facility has a maximum seating capacity of 6,000 for a variety of different events and configurations. Since the grand opening, the Mountain America Center has hosted over 50 events in the first six months, including a wide variety of concerts, sporting events, large banquets, and expos. This venue has world class amenities for its fans and provides a fantastic home to the Idaho Falls Spud Kings organization. With 22 sellouts in the inaugural season, Hero Arena boasts an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams and ranks among the best junior hockey arenas in the country.
